Data Recovery

Losing important data can be an incredibly stressful and scary experience. Fortunately we have years of experience recovering data from hard drives, Solid State Drives, and other storage mediums. Outlined below is our recovery process

1.

Assess the extent of the damage

Our first step when performing a data recovery service is to determine how badly the data has been corrupted or affected. This determines what methods need to be taken in order to attempt the recovery and how long the recovery will take.

2.

Providing a quote for the recovery service

Once we have assessed what needs to be performed for the recovery, we will let you know an estimated turn around time for the job and the cost involved. If this quote is acceptable, we will then proceed with the recovery.

3.

Performing the recovery

The levels of a recovery service can range from performing a simple software fix to running comprehensive data recovery software. Depending on the level, the time to complete the service can vary accordingly.

If the original drive where the data is recovered from is damaged, we can supply a replacement external hard drive to store the data onto or transfer it to another computer.

4.

Completion of the service

If the data recovery is successful we will prove you with a completed invoice detailing all of the steps taken for the recovery.

If the recovery is not possible due to a catastrophic hardware failure and there are no other backups available, we can help by liaising on your behalf with a forensic data recovery company to recover the data. This however is a last resort option.
